It works great! I’ve been using hair products to style my hair ever since I was in high school. This gel has a pretty nice scent and holds very well even if you use a little. It’s not overly sticky like some hair products and washes out very easily with shampoo. You can still take a lot out with just water. Also, it still holds pretty well if you happen to get rained on. I like that it’s in a container like this so you can just take a bit out with your fingers and go straight to styling. It beats having to squeeze it out of a tube and try not to get it everywhere.
The Johnny B Control is supposed to be the original gel, but the scent has changed, and the new scent is overpowering and gives me a headache. The original gel also had a scent, but it was very subtle. I would rather have a product that had no scent at all. It’s a shame because I really liked this product.
