Day 1
After arriving in Los Angeles and checking into the team hotel, you’ll begin an exciting new chapter as you travel to our corporate headquarters to meet the Johnny B. team and explore our creative space. The afternoon concludes with a team activity offsite.
Day 2
Master grooming techniques taught by a Johnny B. educator, learn how to leverage social media for your brand, and get introduced to effective sales strategies that will help increase your bottom line.
Day 3
Connect with your colleagues through hands-on challenges, gain inspiration and valuable insight from our leadership, and reinforce our shared passion.

I'm interested in becoming a Johnny B. educator, what are the requirements?
The first step in becoming a Johnny B. Educator is to attend the Grand Prix. Offered multiple times throughout the year, Grand Prix immerses you into the brand, giving you the tools you need to advance your educational journey. You must be a student or licensed professional to attend.
The second step is to apply and be accepted into our annual Barber Academy (open to licensed professionals who have completed Grand Prix only). As your skills develop, your work is evaluated, and you are given the opportunity to move up within our team.
What does it mean to become a Johnny B. advocate?
Becoming a Johnny B. advocate requires a commitment to elevating your professional presence and credibility. You’ll gain exclusive access into the Johnny B. culture, new product launches, and online sales created just for our education team. In addition, you may have the opportunity to travel around the country, gaining valuable networking skills by interacting with other industry professionals. You’ll also benefit from increased exposure through featured content and brand collaboration.

Do you hold Grand Prix events in other cities besides Los Angeles?
Grand Prix and Barber Academy events are only held at our Los Angeles headquarters so that you receive the full Johnny B. experience.
How much does it cost?
Grand Prix is $1000 per person. The cost includes hotel accommodations for two nights, transportation to/from Johnny B. headquarters, professional headshots, some meals, all offsite team activities, and a swag bag. Please note: RT Airfare to Los Angeles is not included.
A $199 non-refundable deposit is required when you register for the event. The remaining balance is split in two with payment dates provided via email.
What happens when I need to cancel after signing up?
Any cancellation made up to 21 days before Grand Prix is entitled to a refund of monies paid, minus the $199 non-refundable deposit.
If cancellations are made 20 days or less prior to the start of Grand Prix, the attendee is subject to full forfeiture of all monies received but will have the opportunity to apply the total as a credit to future product purchases.
When is the deadline to sign up for Grand Prix?
To provide a quality experience, Grand Prix only has 4-8 spots available per event. It’s first come, first served so secure your reservation quickly.
